PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Pricing Analysts needed a way to group items and store locations. Their current application was done using MS Excel sheets mostly so needed a better way.

PROJECT GOALS

I needed to create a new application that allowed the Pricing Analysts to do their jobs easier and more efficiently.

RESEARCH ACCOMPLISHMENTS

User Research: Interviewed the Pricing Analysts who use the current application on a daily basis. Interviewed developers to get a better understanding of its functionalities and what they would like to see modified in the current system.

Stakeholder Interviews: Interviewed the senior manager to determine the core functionalities and requirements.

Market Research: Researched, attended live demos and compared other monitoring applications to determine if additional features are necessary for our users.

CONTENT STRATEGY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Collaborated with the design and development teams to compile the project requirements documents.

DESIGN ACCOMPLISHMENTS

1) Design Thinking Session: Created empathy map and user journey during the Design Thinking Session.

2) Wireframes:
-Hand sketched wireframes during the Design Thinking session.

-Voted on the designs using stickers

-Prioritized the design ideas

3) Low and High Fidelity Prototype:
-Designed the user interface

4) Collaboration: Worked with front-end and back-end developers, and project managers. Served as the advocate for human-centered design through out the production process, provided guidance to all members of the team.
